GJA goes to the polls today

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is set to hold its national and regional executive elections today, Monday, June 30, 2025, at designated polling centres across the country.
According to a statement issued by the GJA Elections Committee, polls will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m.
All eligible members are encouraged to participate in the vote by presenting a valid Ghana Card, Voter ID, or Passport bearing their name and photograph.
The committee announced that ballot counting and the declaration of results will take place immediately after the close of polls at each centre.
Ahead of the elections, the committee has cautioned members to disregard a fake voters' list circulating on social media, emphasising that only the official voters’ register will be used for the exercise.
The elections are expected to usher in new leadership at both the national and regional levels to lead the Association into its next phase of advocacy, professionalism, and development.
