Over 40,000 students reimbursed under gov't's ‘No Fees, No Stress’ initiative

The landmark No Fees, No Stress initiative continues to deliver relief to tertiary students across Ghana, with new figures showing significant progress in reimbursements and application processing.
As of the latest update:
40,233 students have been reimbursed,
60,756 students have been successfully validated,
151,492 applications have been fully completed, and
175,094 students have accessed the portal since the programme's launch.
The initiative, aimed at easing financial burdens for eligible students, has gained momentum as more students complete the required processes to receive reimbursements for tuition and other academic fees.
Officials behind the programme say these numbers reflect growing awareness and confidence in the system, and have encouraged more students who have not yet applied to do so before the deadline.
The No Fees, No Stress initiative is part of broader efforts to improve access to higher education and reduce dropout rates due to financial constraints.
The initiative is expected to benefit thousands more as validations and disbursements continue in the coming weeks
