UG ranked no.1 locally

Ghana’s topmost university for the year 2022 is the University of Ghana.
The University has also been ranked 1,124th in the world.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is ranked 2nd and 1,532th in the world.
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is also ranked 3rd in Ghana and 2,205th in the world.
The ranking is done by Webometrics.com.
It is to promote web publication with a primary target to support electronic access to scientific publications, Open Access initiatives and other academic materials.
