A/R: Omanhemaa hails new DVLA office at Bechem

The Omanhemaa of Bechem Traditional Council in the Tano South Municipal of the Ahafo Region, Nana Serwaa Dwamena Adwoa-po II, has hailed the member of parliament (MP) in the area, Charles Akwasi Aseidu, the government, the ministry of transport, and the CEO of Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), for established a new DVLA office at Bechem, to enhance road network business activities in the area.

She gladly noted the newly-established office would serve residents of Bechem and nearby towns.

She urged drivers to patronise the DVLA's services.

The Omanhemaa spoke during the commissioning of the new DVLA office at Bechem, on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, added that the newly established DVLA office would give exceptional service to the people of Tano South. He appreciated MP Akwasi Asiedu, too, for his laudable efforts.

Some Bechem drivers, who spoke to Class Media Group's (CMG) Kojo Mframa, expressed joy, emphasising the convenience and ease the Bechem DVLA office would afford them, helping them avoid the frustrations of going outside the municipality for DVLA services.
