APN dialogue series underway in Accra
The Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026 will take place on 4 February 2026 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana, under the theme “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.”
Day One will feature the Women Prosperity Dialogue and the official opening ceremony, hosted by Jerry Adjorlolo.
Proceedings will begin with lunch, cultural and youth performances, sponsor showcases, and multimedia presentations, setting the tone for the day.
The formal programme will open with a welcome address by H.E. Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, followed by opening remarks from leaders in finance, development, and governance, a keynote address by H.E. Amma Twum-Amoah of the African Union Commission, a special address by H.E. Ana Afonso Dias Lourenço, First Lady of Angola, and the Presidential Opening Address delivered by H.E. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President of Ghana.
Three high-level sessions will anchor the dialogue.
Session One will focus on building an inclusive AfCFTA, examining how the Protocol on Women and Youth in Trade can expand access to finance, technology, and markets for women, youth, and SMEs.
Session Two will highlight women leaders driving AfCFTA implementation across public and private sectors, showcasing leadership, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.
Session Three will explore value addition and export readiness, with a focus on strengthening women-led enterprises, boosting the competitiveness of African-made products, and expanding participation in regional and global value chains.
The programme will also feature fashion showcases, spoken word and musical performances, and a visual tribute celebrating outstanding African women driving change across business, policy, and society.
Day One will conclude with a closing address by Nana Adjoa Hackman, Executive Director of the Africa Prosperity Network(APN)
