Akufo-Addo gets new aide-de-camp

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been assigned a new aide-de-camp (ADC) following the promotion of his current one, Bismark Onwona, to the rank of Major General.
The president’s new ADC is Colonel Amponsah.
Major General Bismark Onwona is now the Commandant of the Training and Doctrine Command of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
An aide-de-camp is a personal assistant or secretary to a person of high rank, usually a senior military, police or government officer, or to a member of a royal family or a head of state.
Major General Bismark Onwona served as President Akufo-Addo’s bodyguard.
