C/R: 73 Youth Employment Agency recruits pass out in Awutu Senya East

Seventy-three young men and women have successfully passed out under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) programme in Awutu Senya East, Central Region.
The group comprises 56 Community Police Assistants and 17 Fire Safety personnel, trained under the supervision of the Central East Regional Police Command and the Ghana National Fire Service.
At the passing-out ceremony, the Municipal Director of YEA, Mr. Frederick Adasu, assured the recruits that their salaries would be paid regularly and without delay.
He urged them to uphold discipline in the discharge of their duties and warned that anyone found engaging in extortion or misconduct would be dismissed.
He also revealed that the training is being rolled out in phases, with the second batch expected to begin soon.
Other ongoing modules, he noted, include Prison Assistants and Ambulance Assistants.
The Central East Regional Police Commander, COP Stephen Nchor, highlighted the importance of the new personnel in helping to maintain peace and order in Kasoa and the surrounding communities.
He admonished them to remain disciplined, respect the law, and avoid compromising their duties due to personal relationships.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East, Mr Seth Sabah Sewornoo-Banini, encouraged the recruits to demonstrate dedication and commitment to their work.
He assured them that hardworking personnel would be recommended by their commanders for possible absorption into the mainstream security services.
