Firefighters’ rapid response limits damage at Labone’s Honeysuckle pub
A fire erupted at the Honeysuckle Pub and Restaurant in Labone, Accra, around 5 p.m. on Saturday, 26 October 2024.
GNFS officers arrived promptly, quickly working to bring the flames under control and prevent them from spreading further into the popular pub.
The efforts of the fire team was bolstered by ECG officials, who disconnected the power supply to ensure a safe environment and prevent potential reignition hazards.
In a statement on the Fire Service’s official Facebook page, Assistant Division Officer Alex King Nartey praised the coordinated efforts of GNFS and ECG personnel, highlighting their swift action as key to securing the premises and averting more significant damage.
