NDC's Vice Presidential Candidate storms Ashanti Region with four-day campaign tour

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has kicked off a four-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, where she plans to engage with a variety of groups and highlight the NDC’s vision for the area.
Her itinerary includes visits to key constituencies such as Asawase, Afigya Kwabre South, Subin, Manhyia South, Nhyiaeso, Asante Akim South, Sekyere Afram Plains, Juaben, Ejisu, Obuasi West, and Atwima Kwanwoma.
During this tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will meet with professional bodies, trade associations, artisans, and community members.
She is also expected to address a regional gathering of Muslim women, engage with market women, and connect with NDC members and supporters, sharing the party’s achievements in the Ashanti Region.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will highlight the development projects completed under previous NDC administrations, such as the Kejetia Market, the new airport, and health facilities, underscoring the party’s commitment to the region.
She will reinforce that a return to office by Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama would bring further development, including job creation, improved infrastructure, and economic opportunities for women.
With her message of commitment and development, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang hopes to boost support for the NDC in the Ashanti Region, focusing on the party’s past achievements and its plans to further empower local communities under John Mahama’s leadership.
