Prue East MP meet Energy Minister

The Member of Parliament for Pru East Constituency, Emmanuel Boam, has held discussions with the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, on addressing electricity challenges affecting communities in the Bono East Region.

The meeting was attended by the Bono East Regional representative on the Council of State and Paramount Chief of the Yeji Traditional Area, Pimampim Yaw Kagbrese V.

According to Mr. Boam, the engagement focused on finding practical and long-term solutions to improve electricity access and reliability across the region, particularly within the Pru East Constituency.

The discussions centred on critical energy concerns confronting residents and explored measures that could help strengthen power infrastructure and ensure a more stable electricity supply for households, businesses, and public institutions.

The MP described the meeting as productive and expressed optimism that the engagement would contribute to advancing sustainable energy solutions for the constituency and the wider Bono East Region.

Improving access to reliable electricity remains a key development priority for many communities in the region, where stakeholders continue to advocate investments in energy infrastructure to support economic growth and improve living conditions.
