IGP donates to Chief Imam
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr James Oppong-Boanuh, represented by the Chaplain of the Ghana Police Church 37 branch, ACP Very Rev. Frank D. Twum Baah and the Police Chief Imam Supt. Husein Abdul Rahim Hussein; has donated assorted items to the Chief Imam for the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
The items are a bull, 15 bags of 50kg rice, 5 bags of 50kg sugar, 5 gallons of oil, 2 cartons of milo, 5 packs of water, 6 cartons of ideal & carnation milk and cash of GHS 5,000.00.
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu urged Police Officers to be united as a body in enforcing the law.
“Allah created us in diversity to complement each other and not to fight among ourselves,’’ he added.
