PRINPAG opens nominations for 2025 national executive elections today

The Election Committee of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has officially opened nominations for its 2025 National Executive Elections.
According to the committee, the nomination process begins Monday, July 14, 2025, and closes on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, by the close of business.
All members in good standing as of the opening date are eligible to contest for various leadership positions.
The positions open for election include:
President
Vice President
Organizing Secretary
Public Affairs and External Relations Officer
Financial Secretary/Treasurer
Each aspirant is required to pay a nomination fee of GHC 200, in addition to the applicable filing fees as follows:
President – GHC 1,000
Vice President – GHC 700
All other positions – GHC 500
All payments are to be made into the official PRINPAG bank account at Ecobank Ghana:

A valid payment slip must be presented at the PRINPAG Secretariat in order to obtain the official nomination forms.
The Election Committee emphasised that only members who are in good standing will be eligible to file nominations and contest in the elections.
