Patrick Boamah congratulates Delese Mimi Darko on TIME100 Health Recognition
The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Patrick Yaw Boamah, has congratulated Delese Mimi Darko, former Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Authority(FDA), following her recognition on the prestigious TIME100 Health list as one of the world’s most influential leaders in health.
She is also the inaugural Director General of the African Medicines Agency
In a statement posted on his Facebook wall, Mr. Boamah praised Dr. Darko’s outstanding leadership and commitment to strengthening medicine regulation across Africa.
He noted that her work continues to drive innovation and enhance regulatory systems within the health sector.
The lawmaker described the recognition as a remarkable achievement not only for Dr. Darko personally but also for Ghana and the African continent at large.
Dr. Darko’s inclusion on the TIME100 Health list highlights her impact on global health governance and underscores Ghana’s growing influence in pharmaceutical regulation and public health leadership.
