Update: GHS confirms 36 Dengue fever cases
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 36 cases of dengue fever as of Wednesday, July 17, 2024, across the Eastern and Central regions.
In its latest update, the GHS reported that only one patient required hospitalization but has since been discharged.
The remaining cases are being managed at home and are stable.
The GHS is urging the public, particularly those in affected areas, to prevent mosquito bites by wearing protective clothing and using mosquito repellents.
