Abraham Aidoo engages executives on development challenges in Kpone Katamanso
Aspiring independent Member of Parliament for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Abraham Aidoo, has held a consultative meeting with 60 constituency executives to deliberate on key development challenges and possible self-help interventions within the area.
The meeting, held on February 1, 2026, brought together community executives to discuss pressing issues affecting residents of the constituency, including poor road infrastructure, water supply challenges, electricity deficits, schools, market facilities, youth unemployment and the general living conditions of vulnerable groups.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Aidoo emphasised the need for collective action and community-driven solutions while awaiting broader government intervention.
He noted that small, well-coordinated efforts at the community level could generate significant improvements across the entire constituency.
The session featured an interactive engagement, with the aspirant delivering a speech outlining his vision and proposed solutions, followed by questions, suggestions and contributions from the executives in attendance.
Participants shared experiences from their respective communities and proposed practical measures to improve livelihoods and social amenities.
Mr. Aidoo expressed confidence in his decision to contest the parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections, stating that his goal is to restore hope and rebuild trust between leadership and residents of Kpone Katamanso.
He reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, youth empowerment and sustainable development, stressing that meaningful progress could be achieved through unity, innovation and shared responsibility among community members.
