Akufo-Addo tours two regions to garner support for Bawumia
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced plans to embark on a tour of the Upper East and Upper West regions on October 1, 2024.
This initiative aims to rally support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Presidential Candidate for the upcoming December 7, elections.
According to a flyer from the Office of the President, the tour will involve meetings with traditional chiefs, party supporters, and various community stakeholders.
The President’s engagement is part of a broader strategy to energize the party base and secure votes ahead of the election.
As the election date approaches, this tour highlights the President's commitment to mobilizing support for Dr. Bawumia and reinforcing party unity in the run-up to the polls.
