Central Region NDC Organizers applaud Mahama for ministerial appointment

A group of 23 Constituency Organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region have expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Ekow Payin Eduamoah as the Central Regional Minister.
In a statement, the organizers lauded Mr Eduamoah for his dedication and service to the party at various levels, highlighting his contributions as a Branch Executive, Constituency Organizer, two-term Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa East, and the current Central Regional Vice Chairman of the NDC.
“As field marshalls, we feel honoured and humbled that President Mahama continues to recognize and reward hardworking party executives with key leadership positions,” the statement read.
The statement was jointly signed by: Joseph Kojo Mensah (Ajumako Enyan Essiam), Raymond Armah Narh (CR Dean of Organizers) and Nanka-Bruce (Cape Coast South)
The group expressed confidence in Mr. Eduamoah’s ability to foster unity in the region and effectively lobby for the region’s fair share of national development projects.
The organizers outlined key infrastructural projects they expect the new minister to prioritize and revive, including:
Komenda Sugar Factory – To boost employment and the sugar industry. Fisheries University at Anomabo – To enhance education and skill development in the fisheries sector. Fishing Processing Plant at Elmina – The second largest in West Africa, which remains underutilized. Nursing and Teacher Training Colleges at Ajumako Biseasi – To expand access to tertiary education in the region.The organizers also hailed the appointments of other key figures from the Central Region, including:
Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, PhD – Minister of Finance Nana Ama Klutse – CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Felix Ofosu Kwakye – Acting Spokesperson for the PresidentAdditionally, they praised Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for making history as Ghana’s first female Vice President, emphasizing that the Central Region remains eternally grateful for her elevation to such a high office.
The statement concluded with a call for hard work and dedication from all appointees, urging them to deliver on their mandates for the betterment of the region and the nation.
“We say Ayekoo to all appointees and expect nothing but hard work from them,” the statement added.
