Dec polls: A vote for Bawumia is a third term for Akufo-Addo – Mahama
The 2024 flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has said, a vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 general elections is a 3rd term for President Akufo-Addo.
He said after looting the country through corruption and mismanagement of the economy, the NPP want to cover up the mess, hence, pushing Bawumia with the ‘Break the 8’ agenda.
He described Dr Bawumia as a pliant Vice President who will provide the needed cover up for the atrocities they have committed.
Mr Mahama said this when he addressed a mini rally at Bawalashie as part of his tour of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the Greater Accra Region, today, Thursday, 18 July 2024.
He said the best signal to send to the world that Ghana is ready for a turn-around is to vote out the NPP and urged the electorate to vote massively against them on December 7, 2024.
Mr Mahama assured that his administration would hold the NPP accountable to all the mess they have created.
Mr Mahama also said his administration will investigate the death of eight people during the 2020 election and all found culpable would be punished while the families of the victims will be compensated.
