I’m the leader the NPP needs; the most marketable, Ghana’s only hope – Kyerematen

Flagbearer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyerematen, has urged the rank and file of the party to give him the nod to lead the party into the 2024 elections, as he is the only candidate to make breaking the 8-year political cycle in the country possible.
Mr Kyerematen who is in the Savannah Region as part of his campaign tour indicated that the region is the 12th he is visiting after launching his campaign.
He said his support base cuts across all political parties and that amongst all the other aspirants, he is most marketable.
Mr Kyerematen further indicated that the country currently needs a transformational leader like him, to turn around its fortunes.
He noted that the country is going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the 17th time which needs to come to an end if he becomes Ghana's president.
The NPP flagbearer aspirant, touching on agriculture, promised a revolution in the sector and transform the economy of Ghana if elected as President.
He pledged to establish agricultural mechanisation centres equipped with farm implements, irrigation and dam facilities, and offer education and agronomy support for farmers to ensure stability and food security.
The NPP flagbearer aspirant also promised to increase the voter margin of the party in the Ashanti and the Volta regions, referring to himself as the only hope of the NPP and Ghana at large.
Earlier in the day, the former Trades Minister paid a courtesy call on the newly-outdoored overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Biikunuto Jewu Soale.
He also, visited the clergy, the Muslim leadership and had the opportunity to interact with market women at the Damongo market.
Addressing the media, Mr Kyerematen used the opportunity to appeal to party delegates to endorse a leader who can unite the people devoid of the divisive tendencies that characterise the political landscape of the country.
