KAA 2028 campaign denounces false claims of endorsing President Mahama
The Kwabena Agyei Agyepong (KAA) 2028 Campaign has strongly refuted a circulating social media report claiming that Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong endorsed President John Dramani Mahama over his own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The campaign described the report, particularly trending on platforms such as Blakk360, as “malicious, misleading, and deliberately concocted” to tarnish Ing. Agyepong’s reputation and create confusion among NPP members and the general public.
Clarifying the matter, the campaign emphasised that Ing. Agyepong has not granted any recent interviews with Asempa FM, and that the alleged quote, “Mahama toa so” (“Mahama should continue”), is a complete fabrication.
“Ing. Agyepong has always maintained loyalty to Ghana and the New Patriotic Party.
His consistent calls for truth, accountability, and responsible leadership must not be mistaken for disloyalty,” the statement said.
The campaign described the false report as part of a coordinated smear campaign by individuals unsettled by Ing. Agyepong’s growing influence and message of renewal, honesty, and discipline within the NPP.
The statement added that such attacks only strengthen his resolve to restore credibility and integrity to political leadership.
The KAA 2028 Campaign urged the public, media, and party members to disregard the fabrication and remain focused on the campaign’s mission of “Renewal and Hope” for both the NPP and Ghana.
Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong remains firmly committed to leading the NPP with truth, discipline, and selfless service, the campaign confirmed.
The statement was signed by Nana Ama Asantewaa Kwarko, spokesperson for the KAA 2028 Campaign.
