Miracles Aboagye’s Arrest: EOCO is ‘unprofessional and are liars’ - Nana B
National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has called out EOCO for what he described as their “unprofessionalism”.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, the NPP national organizer said; “EOCO never asked Miracles Aboagye about any GH55million as it was speculated.”
He further questioned the institution’s professionalism stating that the EOCO peddled falsehood in its official statement to the public.
“Do you know that the matter about an accountant refunding some money to EOCO has nothing to do with the Miracles Aboagye’s issue?”
“Apparently, the accountant, we have learned, was made to refund a sum of about 500000 following an audit report and he has since been paying up. And that is a completely separate matter but EOCO included it in their statement to give an impression that that is part of the Miracles’ case,” he said.
EOCO arrested Dennis Edward Aboagye on July 12, 2026, at the Accra International Airport.
He was arrested over allegations of financial and procurement irregularities involving approximately GH55million in public funds.
