NDC must be humble to maintain power – Educator

Emmanuel Dorbi, an educationist and social commentator, has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to learn from the failures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stay in power.
He spoke on Ho 92.5 FM’s Adanu Morning Show with Togbe Ahorgo I on Monday, April 28, 2025, cautioning arrogance could send NDC back to opposition.
“Some government officials have started ignoring the calls of the ordinary Ghanaian who voted for NDC to come to power. The same people the NDC party pursued to vote for them during the 2024 general election. This must stop now if you want to be in power because the power belongs to the people you are ignoring now,” he explained.
Dorbi, therefore, urged President John Dramani Mahama and other government appointees to prioritise the development of the country rather than their own personal gains, knowing their actions would inspire Ghanaians to maintain them or vote them out of power.
He emphasised the importance of President Mahama fulfilling the NDC’s manifesto promises.
