Parliament presents Democracy Cup Trophy to acting Chief Justice

Parliament, led by the First Deputy Speaker, Mr. Ahiafor, has presented the trophy for the 2nd edition of the Democracy Cup to the Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Baffoe-Bonnie.
The symbolic gesture highlights the strong collaboration between Ghana’s legislature and judiciary in promoting democratic values and national unity.
The Democracy Cup, introduced as part of efforts to celebrate and deepen Ghana’s democratic culture, brings together institutions, stakeholders, and citizens in a spirit of sportsmanship and patriotism.
Justice Baffoe-Bonnie, receiving the trophy, commended Parliament for the initiative and reiterated the judiciary’s commitment to safeguarding the rule of law as a pillar of democracy.
