President Mahama names final batch of Deputy Ministerial appointees

President John Dramani Mahama has released the final list of his Deputy Ministerial nominees, marking the completion of his ministerial appointments under the new administration.
The latest appointments include four Members of Parliament, representing various regions and portfolios, who are expected to support the substantive ministers in delivering the government’s agenda.
The nominees are:
Hon. Dorcas Toffey, MP for Jomoro, appointed as Deputy Minister for Transport.
Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North, named Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Hon. Mohammed A. Sukparu, MP for Sissala West, designated as Deputy Minister for Communications.
Hon. Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, MP for Essikado-Ketan, appointed Deputy Minister for Health.
The President’s latest appointments are expected to be forwarded to Parliament for vetting and approval in the coming days.
