A broadcast journalist, Samuel Huntor, has advised former Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo to consider venturing into selling "Nkukor Nkitinkiti" instead of seeking legal representation following her removal from office.

Speaking on Accra100.5 FM’s Citizen Show, hosted by Nana Kwabena Bobie Ansah on Wednesday, September 18, 2025, Mr Huntor suggested that rather than hiring lawyers to challenge her dismissal, the former Chief Justice should redirect her energy into entrepreneurial activities such as the traditional food business.

His comments come in the wake of growing public debate over Justice Torkornoo’s removal and the legal implications surrounding it.

While some legal analysts argue that she has grounds to contest the decision, others believe the matter is purely political and would not yield any significant outcome in court.

Justice Torkornoo, who served as Ghana’s 15th Chief Justice, was relieved of her duties earlier this month under controversial circumstances.

Her removal has sparked mixed reactions among Ghanaians, with many awaiting her next course of action.
