We shall make this country ungovernable in the next 3 months – NDC Dep. Nat’l Youth Organiser
The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has issued a stern warning that the country will become ungovernable within the next three months if the government fails to address the pressing concerns of the people.
Speaking at a rally on Saturday, August 10, Mr Ayariga expressed deep frustration over the current state of affairs, citing widespread economic hardship, unemployment, and lack of basic services as major issues facing Ghanaians.
Mr Ayariga emphasised that the youth are particularly disillusioned with the government's inability to provide sustainable solutions to the country's problems.
He argued that the continued neglect of the people's needs would inevitably lead to civil unrest, as more citizens lose faith in the government’s capacity to govern effectively.
He further accused the government of being out of touch with the realities on the ground, stating that the leadership has failed to deliver on its promises.
Mr Ayariga pointed to the rising cost of living and the deteriorating state of public infrastructure as evidence of the government's incompetence.
According to him, the youth are no longer willing to sit back and watch the country fall apart.
In his address, Mr Ayariga called on all Ghanaians, especially the youth, to unite and demand accountability from the government.
He urged them to take to the streets if necessary, to ensure that their voices are heard.
"As the youth of this country, we have been quiet for long. It is time for us to rise. It is time for us to fight because the victory will not come easy. We are the youth of this country. We are the green army of this country. We are the revolutionary product of this country.
"In the next three months, we shall make this country ungovernable for the NPP. We shall demonstrate, we shall be on the streets, we shall campaign. We shall make this country ungovernable. All the monies they have stolen they must bring it out," he said.
