1XBET Dashiki Fest ’25 closes with a resounding celebration of Culture, community, and sportsmanship

The 1XBET Dashiki Fest ’25 wrapped up spectacularly after five exhilarating days of community action, competitive sports, and cultural celebration.
Hosted by the ever-vibrant MJ the Comedian, the festival brought together thousands in a powerful display of unity, Afrocentric pride, and social impact
Day 1 – Giving Back to the Community (July 1st)The festival began on a purposeful note with a community clean-up exercise at Labadi Borla Junction. Volunteers, residents, and festivalgoers joined hands to clear waste and raise environmental awareness in the area.
This act of service set the tone for a week centred on responsibility, sustainability, and positive community action.
Days 2 to 4 – Football Gala Fever Takes Over Labadi
Excitement reached fever pitch as the 1XBET Dashiki Football Gala unfolded over three action-packed days at the Labadi Wireless Astroturf.
Eight teams competed fiercely, displaying skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship that thrilled spectators.
Team S&S ultimately clinched the title, earning bragging rights and the admiration of fans.
In recognition of their triumph, the winning team received a special training kit, courtesy of 1XBET, to support their continued development and training needs.
Adding to the excitement, 1XBET also presented a Top Scorer award, honouring the most prolific goal-scorer of the tournament—a gesture that emphasised their commitment to nurturing local talent.
Day 5 – The Grand Dashiki Walk & Cultural Explosion (July 5th)The grand finale on July 5th was a vibrant celebration of identity and unity.
Dressed in colourful Dashikis, hundreds of participants embarked on a symbolic walk from the Trade Fair Centre to Independence Square and back to the Labadi Wireless Astroturf Park.
The Dashiki Walk was more than a procession—it was a proud display of African heritage, resilience, and solidarity.
As the sun set, the park transformed into a lively cultural stage. Artists, dancers, and performers captivated the crowd with electrifying shows, blending music, dance, and storytelling into an unforgettable celebration of African excellence.
