In a heartwarming gesture on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, the Students' Representative Council (SRC) of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College has donated a set of jerseys to the university management.
The new complete set of jerseys, comprising:
16 shirts,
16 Shorts,
2 Goalkeepers' outfits and
20 pairs of socks
will be used to support sporting activities on campus.
The donation was made possible through the SRC's committed promise to support sporting activities by kitting the sports team, which in turn aims to promote good-looking, physical fitness and teamwork among students.
The SRC President, Eric Adzie Lakle, during the presentation on behalf of his executives, reiterated, "We believe that sports play a vital role in promoting physical and mental well-being among students, and we are committed to supporting initiatives that encourage an active lifestyle."
The donation of the jerseys by SRC to Management is a testament to the Council’s dedication to promoting sports.
The SRC believes the beneficiaries will take advantage of the new Jerseys to engage in more sporting activities.
Management of the university has expressed its gratitude to the SRC for their generous donation and intervention.
