Bernard Anbataayela Mornah, President of Kalibi Volleyball Club, has reaffirmed the readiness of Kalibi Volleyball Club and the Ghana Volleyball Federation (GVF) ahead of the West Africa Zone III Volleyball Club Championship scheduled to take place from March 1-8, 2026, in Accra.
Mr Mornah stated that Kalibi Volleyball Club has significantly intensified its technical, tactical, and physical preparations, underpinned by sound administrative planning and athlete welfare systems.
He further commended the GVF for its strategic leadership and close collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) to ensure that the championship meets international standards in competition management, logistics, officiating, and participant services.
He expressed profound appreciation to the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, and the GVF for their invaluable support and commitment to the development of volleyball in Ghana.
Mr Mornah assured all participating clubs, both local and international, of a highly competitive tournament, excellent organization, and the hallmark warmth of Ghanaian hospitality.
He extended an invitation to Corporate Ghana to partner and sponsor the championship, describing the event as a strategic platform for sports development, youth empowerment, talent promotion, and national branding at both regional and continental levels.
Mr Mornah highlighted that the championship coincides with Ghana’s Independence celebrations, underscoring its symbolic importance as a celebration of national pride, unity, and an opportunity to showcase Ghana’s rich culture and hospitality to the West African sub-region.
