Twifo Atimokwa leaders laud President Mahama’s first year, promise continued development
The Council of State member and Twifo Atimokwa Constituency NDC Chairman, Mr Hakeem Addai, has praised President John Dramani Mahama for his dedication and achievements during his first year in office.
Mr Addai highlighted several national projects that have directly benefited the Twifo Atimokwa Constituency, including the “Big Push” projects and the 24-hour market initiative. He also cited improvements in fuel and LPG prices, the dollar exchange rate, and the sustainable growth of Ghana’s economy.
He urged Ghanaians to continue supporting President Mahama and the NDC to ensure sustained development across the country.
Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Isaac Yawson, spoke about positive changes in the district over the past year, noting improvements in healthcare, potable drinking water, security, and education, all aimed at enhancing residents’ livelihoods.
Mr Yawson also highlighted a decline in illegal mining activities, attributing it to the efforts of Blue Water Guards protecting water bodies and forest reserves, while encouraging the adoption of responsible mining practices.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting initiatives that promote inclusive growth and development in Twifo Atimokwa and across Ghana.
