Nigerian Police arrest over 100 men for attending gay wedding ceremony

The Delta State Police Command has arrested over 100 suspected gay men who were reportedly holding a wedding ceremony in a hotel in the state.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Police in Delta State, in a tweet Tuesday morning, said the suspects would be paraded shortly.
This publication learnt that they are currently detained at the police headquarters in Asaba, the state capital.
The police said they received a tip-off about the wedding ceremony and raided the hotel.
Homosexual relationships are illegal in Nigeria and punishable by up to 14 years in prison.
