Abu Trica finally reveals origin of his name and sets record straight on his identity
Internet personality Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, has finally opened up about the origin of his unique name and the mix-up surrounding his real identity.
In a candid interview with Onua TV’s Captain Smart, Abu Trica revealed that his stage name “Abutrica” was inspired by the legendary Egyptian footballer, Mohammed Aboutreika.
“I got the name Abutrica from the Egyptian footballer Mohammed Aboutreika,” he explained with a smile.
He went further to clear the air on reports circulating about his official name, firmly stating;
“My name is not Emmanuel Kojo Baah Obeng as indicated by the authorities.”
The revelation has sparked massive reactions online, with many of his followers expressing surprise at the disclosure.
For years, Abu Trica has built a strong fan base with his humorous content and bold personality, but little was known about the man behind the popular name until now.
