For business's sake ‘nonpartisan’ Chief One's open to using ‘huge Voltarian influence’ for politics

Chief One has said “if there is money on the table” he will show up and perform for any political party that calls.
“It’s strictly business,” he explained.
However, “I won’t disclose the amount here but it’d be big money,” the award-winning singer-songwriter added.
Chief One spoke to Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss on Class Xtra on Class 91.3 FM.
He noted he had great influence that would be advantageous to a political party.
“I can influence a lot of people in the Volta Region so before you get me [to do so], you have to do the needful,” the rapper said.
For him to composed a campaign song to endorse a political party, Chief One said the fee would be somewhere between 1 and 5 million US dollars.
“It’s a big ask so you have to give me better money, you know,” the Young Boy hitmaker explained.
He underlined the Volta Region was a stronghold in national politics.
“It’s like a country on its own, they have their own way of doing things, and so to win them over is not easy,” Chief One said, noting he was, however, ready to do it for business.
According to Chief One, data available to his team shows his music is massively played in the Greater Accra region compared to his home region, Volta.
Delilah is Chief One's latest offering.
