Deputy Defence Minister tours military recruitment centres in Greater Accra
The Deputy Minister for Defence, Mr. Enerst Brogya Genfi, has toured key military recruitment centres across the Greater Accra Region as part of efforts to monitor the ongoing nationwide enlistment exercise and assess the effectiveness of systems put in place to ensure a transparent and efficient process.
The tour took the Deputy Minister to the El-Wak Stadium, Nicholson Stadium, the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and the Ghana Air Force Base in Accra—four major screening hubs for this year’s recruitment programme.
At each location, Mr. Brogya Genfi interacted with officials supervising the recruitment procedures and observed applicants as they underwent various stages of screening.
His engagements focused on ensuring that the process remains orderly, fair, and aligned with established standards of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The Deputy Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining transparency in the recruitment exercise and ensuring that only qualified candidates are selected to join the Armed Forces.
He also commended the officers for their diligence and encouraged applicants to remain disciplined throughout the process.
The nationwide recruitment exercise forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of the Ghana Armed Forces and enhance national security.
