First National Forum on Women in Government and Media set for today
The First Annual National Forum on Women in Government and Media is scheduled to take place on February 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Presidential Banquet Hall under the theme “Leadership • Visibility • Public Trust.”
The high-level gathering will bring together distinguished women leaders, policymakers and media professionals from across the country to promote strategic collaboration, strengthen representation and enhance public confidence in governance and leadership.
The event is expected to be graced by President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
The government communication says the forum underscores a strong commitment to inclusive leadership, institutional credibility and the advancement of women in public service and the media.
The initiative is anticipated to serve as a platform for dialogue, networking and the development of actionable strategies aimed at increasing women’s participation and visibility in governance and public discourse
