Ghana Water Limited unveils 200 National Service personnel to boost operations
Ghana Water Limited has inaugurated 200 National Service Personnel to support its operations across the country.
The personnel, specially recruited and trained, will focus on arrears reduction, customer education on electronic payment systems, detection of illegal connections, and community engagement.
Managing Director, Mr. Adam Mutawakilu, speaking at the launch, emphasised the importance of their roles, stating that their service will significantly influence the company's efficiency, reputation, and customer relations.
He urged them to maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and discipline, noting that misconduct will not be tolerated.
The personnel will work closely with district teams to recover outstanding arrears, promote digital payment channels, and identify illegal activities.
Mr. Mutawakilu assured that their activities will be monitored, and they will be assessed based on their performance.
The initiative aims to enhance Ghana Water Limited's revenue and operational performance, with the personnel serving as ambassadors of the company, he said.
Mr. Mutawakilu expressed confidence in their abilities, wishing them success in their engagement.
