Chief of Staff attends National College of Defence Studies matriculation ceremony
The Ghana Armed Forces has hosted the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Julius Debrah, at Burma Camp as Guest of Honour for the third matriculation ceremony of Course 3 at the National College of Defence Studies.
The ceremony brought together senior military officers, government officials, and key stakeholders to mark the formal admission of participants into the advanced defence and strategic leadership programme.
In his address, Mr. Debrah underscored the importance of strategic leadership and defence education in strengthening Ghana’s national security architecture and preparing future leaders to address emerging security challenges.
He noted that institutions such as the National College of Defence Studies play a critical role in shaping policy-oriented military leadership and enhancing strategic thinking within the country’s security sector.
The event was attended by the National Security Advisor to the President, Prosper Bani, members of the Military High Command, senior officers of the Ghana Armed Forces, and other stakeholders from the security and governance sectors.
Officials at the ceremony also reaffirmed the commitment of the Ghana Armed Forces to continuous professional development and capacity building through advanced defence education and strategic training programmes.
