CHAG delegation calls on Health Minister to strengthen collaboration

A delegation from the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) has paid a working visit to the Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, to explore ways of deepening cooperation in the delivery of quality healthcare across the country.
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Health, centered on strengthening the longstanding partnership between CHAG and the government, particularly in the areas of health service delivery, resource sharing, and policy alignment.
The Health Minister expressed his appreciation to CHAG for its continued role in providing accessible and affordable healthcare, especially in underserved and rural communities.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to working closely with CHAG to ensure effective healthcare delivery for all Ghanaians.
On their part, the CHAG delegation emphasised the need for enhanced support from the government, including timely disbursement of funds and improved infrastructure, to enable them to maintain and expand their services.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to foster collaboration between government and faith-based organisations in the health sector, aimed at achieving universal health coverage in Ghana.
