2024 elections: NDC Youth Organiser urges youthful voters to make informed choices
Mr Matthew Attipoe, the Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Constituency of the Central Region, has called on the youth of Ghana to make wise decisions in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Mr Attipoe emphasised that the outcome of this year's elections holds the key to the future of the country's youth.
He urged young Ghanaians to vote overwhelmingly for the opposition NDC to secure their future and avoid the challenges faced by the youth under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Mr Attipoe made these statements following a massive float throughout the principal streets of Elmina.
The float aimed to mobilise support for the NDC in the lead-up to the 2024 general election.
The Central Regional NDC Chairman, Prof Richard Kojo Asiedu, joined other Regional NDC Executives at the event.
Prof Asiedu highlighted the party's 24-hour Economy policy, emphasising that it could be a game-changer for youth employment if the NDC is elected in 2024.
Ms Vivian Sortoh, the KEEA NDC Women's Organizer, cautioned party members against the practice of "skirt and blouse" voting, urging them to remain steadfast and avoid being swayed by members of the governing party (NPP).
Ms Sortoh emphasised the importance of unity within the party for a successful electoral outcome.
