Asiedu Nketia explains rationale behind his 'Thank You Tour'

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has embarked on a thank-you tour in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency to acknowledge the efforts of party executives and grassroots members in the 2024 parliamentary election.
Addressing party executives and supporters, he explained that while President John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang spearheaded the presidential campaign, he took charge of the parliamentary front.
He credited the combined efforts of the grassroots with helping the NDC secure more parliamentary seats in the election.
He noted that the tour was a way of expressing gratitude for the support and sacrifices that contributed to the party’s parliamentary success.
Adding his voice, a representative of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Chief appealed to the NDC government to prioritise solving pressing challenges in the constituency, particularly unemployment, in order to create more opportunities for the youth.
Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, also lent her support, commending the constituency’s efforts and urging continued unity as the party works to deliver on its promises.
