Centre for National Interest congratulates John Mahama on election victory

The Centre for National Interest and Research and the Centenary Agenda Secretariat, Ghana has congratulated John Dramani Mahama on his election as the President of the 4th Republic of Ghana.
In a statement signed by the Dzabaku Kudiabor Ocansey, Founder and Executive Director of the Centre for National Interest and Research and the Centenary Agenda Secretariat, Ghana the statement expressed how thrilled and excited they are to have John Dramani Mahama as the new president of Ghana.
The centre further highlighted collaborating with the NDC government to grow in areas such as protecting natural resources, protecting state resources, safeguarding Ghana’s multi-culture, heritage, empowering marginalized communities through specific incentive policies and building a collaborative relationship with stakeholders to promote national development.
The statement also highlighted some expectations of the Centre for National Interest and Research and the Centenary Agenda Secretariat, Ghana, urging Mahama to demonstrate selfless governance by putting the nation’s interest first regardless of the political affiliations of the citizens.
Again, they hope Mahama revisits the nation's shortcomings and prioritizes economic development, institutional reforms, and social cohesion to enable the attainment of a first-world nation.
