Togbe Agbobada IV, the Dufia of Adaklu Anfoe, has expressed confidence in the 24-hour economy promise by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, the policy will help create jobs for the unemployed youth.

He was addressing artisans, queen mothers and professional bodies at Ahunda in the Adaklu constituency when the NDC's vice presidential candidate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, visited on her Volta Regional campaign tour.

The chief expressed optimistism the NDC will win the December 7 general elections to implement their flagship 24-hour economic policy and others.

He commended Prof Opoku-Agyemang for playing an instrumental role in drafting the NDC manifesto to include the Women's Development Bank, the 24-hour economy and other policies geared towards women empowerment.

Togbe Agbobada IV urged the NDC to consider residents of Adaklu when it was time to implement their policies.

He described as false the claim by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that they were the first to bring an asphaltic road to the Adaklu area. He said it was rather the NDC that did so.

Togbe Agbobada said, the Adaklu traditional area stands for development and will work hard to ensure the victory of NDC to bring development to the people.
