Vote massively for NDC to experience humane policies – Dr. Awusi
Dr. Mrs. Mary Awusi, a deputy Director of Interparty Relations and Civil Society Organisations for the National Democratic Congress has urged Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in the upcoming elections to benefit from significant development and humane policies.
Speaking at a mini rally in Afigya Asokore, Ashanti Region, Dr. Awusi emphasized that many of the developmental projects in the constituency were completed under the NDC administration.
She stressed that Ghanaians deserve better and that it is time for Ghana to be "reset."
Dr. Awusi also expressed confidence that the NDC would serve the nation well, particularly women, by establishing a Women's Development Bank aimed at supporting women's growth and empowerment.
Former Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, Comrade Yaw Brogya Genfi, took the opportunity to criticize the failed policies of the NPP and highlighted the NDC's better alternatives.
He called on voters to embrace the NDC's free tertiary education policy and vote for the party to secure a brighter future for the youth.
Mr Brogya Genfi also outlined the NDC’s plans for improving technical and vocational training and expressed hope for the NDC's victory, advocating for the removal of nuisance betting taxes and the e-levy.
Raymond Opoku Agyemang, the NDC's Parliamentary Candidate for Afigya Asokore, urged constituents to give the NDC the opportunity to serve them better, stressing that the party is the only one that offers hope to the people.
At the rally, Mr. Agyemang criticized the NPP's unfulfilled promises and called for a vote that prioritizes jobs and development.
He further urged his supporters to be vigilant at the polls, ensuring a smooth and peaceful election process before, during, and after voting.
