2026 UGCFL: Week 3 ends in several draws
Group B fixtures of the 2026 University of Ghana Corporate Football League (UGCFL) on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the UG Stadium Warm-Up Pitch were largely defined by tight contests and strong defensive organization.
Forestry Commission and Telecel Ghana played out a disciplined 0–0 draw, with both sides maintaining compact defensive lines and limiting clear scoring opportunities. Despite steady attacking efforts, neither team could break the deadlock.
Similarly, National Petroleum Authority (NPA) and Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) settled for a 0–0 stalemate. The match was dominated by midfield battles and structured play, with both teams showing tactical discipline but creating few clear chances.
The most exciting fixture of the night saw National Communications Authority (NCA) and Zenith Bank FC draw 2–2 in an open and entertaining contest. Justice Larbi opened the scoring for Zenith Bank in the 5th minute, and Bismark De-Graft doubled the lead in the 11th minute. NCA responded quickly, with Elvis H. Attakorah pulling one back in the 15th minute before Ransford Mills equalised a minute later to complete a rapid comeback.
In another match, Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) fell 1–0 to the Lebanese Sports Community, with Mohammed Tzzeddin scoring the decisive goal in the 33rd minute to secure the win.
Rounding off the group’s fixtures, Union Ghana and Wilmar Africa also finished 0–0, capping a night where defensive discipline proved to be the dominant theme across Group B.
