Ghana has bested Central African Republic 5-0.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier (WCQ) took place at the Stade d'Honneur in Meknes, Morocco, at 4 PM, today, Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The Black Stars asserted dominance from the start, with Mohammed Salisu facilitating a lead in the 20th minute via a Mohammed Kudus corner kick.
In the 52nd minute, Jordan Ayew assisted Thomas Partey to find the net, with Alexander Djiku making it a 3-0 lead in the 69th minute.
The fourth goal came from Jordan Ayew in the 71st minute, Kamaldeen Sulemana providing the climatic fifth goal in the 87th minute, assisted by Joseph Paintsil.
The Black Stars currently lead Group I with 22 points, with Madagascar in second place, and three points separating them.
Ghana goes up against Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The team is currently in a strong position to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the USA.
