MOLIY has offered her follow-up track to her viral hit Shake It To The Max.

The Ghanaian-American sensation teamed up with South Africa's Tyla for the record which sounds ready to shake social media, the club and radio.

Titled Body Go, MOLIY celebrates her "nice and sweet" body with the opening verse, offering body-positivity vibes. When she immediately gets to the chorus 25 seconds into the 2:45 piece, she provokes the listener who "came out tonight" to let loose and "dance, whine your body, go down". 

On her part, Tyla seductively encourages a suitor on the dancefloor with, "I'm not yours but I can be," and signals a competitive pursuit since "everybody here want it".

The record produced by French producer FRNCH and Grammy award-winning producer DEE/MA commemorates Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B and Pop cultures.

When the song was made, MOLIY is said to have envisioned "another baddie" on it. Grammy-winning Tyla was the one, for Moliy. When Tyla eagerly sent in her verse, the pair met for the first time in New York City, USA.

"The first time we met, it didn’t even feel like the first time," MOLIY recalled. 

Tyla said "We laughed the whole time, and she even surprised me with flowers for my birthday."

She explained why she did not hesitate to make an appearance on Go Body.

"I remember hearing Body Go for the first time and thinking, 'Yeah, I need to be on this. It feels like you’re outside with your girls, not thinking too hard, just living, just moving'," she noted.

Body Go comes after the tsunamic success of MOLIY's Shake It To The Max. The remix featuring Silent Addy, Skillibeng, and Shenseea, surpassed one billion streams, spending 22 weeks at number one on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs Chart. 

Gathering playlist placements globally, the record made MOLIY the first Ghanaian artist to perform at the BET Awards.
