Bryan Acheampong’s media attaché pays tribute to Daddy Lumba

Richard Barimah Sarpong, a media attaché to Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a presidential hopeful of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has paid a heartfelt visit to the residence of legendary Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba to commiserate with his family.
In an emotional tribute shared during the visit in Accra, Mr. Sarpong reflected on the deep personal impact Daddy Lumba had on his life, describing him as not only a music icon but a spiritual and cultural mentor.
“As a ‘Sekyereniiba’ like myself, Daddy, through his music, gave me hope from my early years.
He taught me how to handle life’s difficulties and how to rely on God,” he said.
“Daddy Lumba has been my all-time best Twi (Asantekasa) teacher. Daddy, we love you… rest well.”
