Award-winning Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has sparked fresh debate online after sharing a controversial take on the long-standing call for unity within the country's music and creative industry.

"We DON'T need unity in our music/creative scene. Unity is a MYTH and a banner often waved by selfish people when they want everyone to rally behind them," he wrote.
