David Tamakloe donates laser printer to boost secretariat operations

Aspirant for the presidency of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG), Mr. David Tamakloe, has donated a high-end laser printer to the Association’s headquarters in Accra to support its daily administrative work.
The donation follows Mr. Tamakloe’s recent visit to the PRINPAG Secretariat for his vetting, during which he observed that the Association’s only printer had broken down.
This had compelled staff to walk long distances to access printing services, significantly disrupting their workflow.
“Witnessing the inconvenience firsthand, I felt a sense of responsibility to step in,” Mr. Tamakloe said at the presentation ceremony.
“I also take this opportunity to encourage development partners, corporate institutions, and well-meaning individuals to support PRINPAG in advancing press freedom and promoting professionalism in the media.”
Receiving the printer on behalf of the Association, PRINPAG President Mr. Edwin Arthur expressed sincere appreciation for the timely intervention.
He clarified that the donation was not politically driven, but rather a demonstration of concern and dedication to the Association’s welfare.
“This is a thoughtful and much-needed gesture,” Mr. Arthur remarked.
“We encourage others to follow suit and contribute to the strengthening of PRINPAG as we continue working to elevate journalism standards in Ghana.”
