George Opare -Addo at YEA head office in Accra
The Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, Mr. George Opare Addo, paid a working visit to the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) head office on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, where he was formally introduced to the staff as the new sector Minister with direct supervisory authority over the agency.
The visit formed part of his ongoing familiarization tour of the various agencies and departments under the newly established Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.
During his engagement, Mr. Opare Addo outlined his commitment to understanding the agency’s structure and operations at firsthand, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to drive youth employment and empowerment initiatives across the country.
His visit was met with optimism from the YEA leadership and staff, who expressed their readiness to work closely with him to enhance job creation and skill development for Ghanaian youth.
